SOCIAL SECURITY AND SUPPORT PROGRAMME
Under the social security and Support Programme of SMK, 35 people both male and female, who have become disabled due to leprosy are being provided monthly pension of Rupees 200 per month. These disabled persons are living in Garibdas Kushthashram and Nav Jeevan Kushthashram situated near to SMK, Galta. This support in form of pension gives them a sense of security as to fulfill their immediate requirements. Otherwise they would have to be dependent on other for this. Apart from this pension, inmates of these Ashrams are also provided medical support and ration items.
